Exterior of 1990s office to be reclad and interiors upgraded

Odos Architects with Groupwork & Amin Taha have won planning for the renovation of an early 1990s office building in the City fringe.

The project to transform Spitalfields House, on the corner of Middlesex Street and Widegate Street, was granted consent by the City Corporation.

The six-storey, 47,555sq ft building, which currently has eight tenants, will have its office space, roof terrace and common areas upgraded and new retail and reception areas created on the ground floor.
