PRS-oriented scheme features 375 homes in blocks of up to 26 storeys
Bristol City Council is evaluating Chapman Taylor-designed proposals for a 375-home development on the site of a former ambulance base.
Drawn up for Bouygues’ Linkcity development arm, the scheme includes 26-storey and 10-storey towers connected by a podium building that would also include a 420 sq m convenience store and leisure facilities.
Chapman Taylor director Nick Thursby said the development had a strong built form and a northern boundary that was “reminiscent” of the old castle wall that once stood on the site.
“This is an exciting scheme,” he said. “Castle Park View will deliver an exemplar development of much-needed, professionally managed homes to the city.
“Not only an innovative project for Bristol, but also for Chapman Taylor, as we embark on designing the build-to-rent communities of the future.”
