Chipperfield's Turner Contemporary in Margate

David Chipperfield Architects has revealed its design for the Turner Contemporary gallery in Margate. The scheme replaces Snøhetta Spence’s project for a site at the end of Margate Pier, which was abandoned last year after costs rose to an estimated £48 million.
