Work on PRS scheme to start later this year
PCKO has been given planning for a private rental scheme on the site of a former social club in Essex.
The Nalgo club in Hornchurch closed four years ago after being run by supporters for 25 years and will now be turned into 44 homes for Havering council’s new housing company Mercury Land Holdings.
Work on the five-storey block is expected to start later this year and is aimed at young people and families in the borough.
Affordable housing specialist PCKO, which was founded more than 30 years ago, was bought by AHR last year.
