AHMM picks up project gong for Scotland Yard
JTP has been crowned Architect of the Year at the annual Building Awards.
AHMM was highly commended at last night’s ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel which was attended by 1,200 leading construction industry professionals.
The practice also won Project of the Year for New Scotland Yard, the new headquarters of the Metropolitan Police.
The evening, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan with Rory Bremner and Jan Ravens, is run by BD’s sister title, Building magazine.
The Architect of the Year shortlist featured Buckley Gray Yeoman, Assael Architects, Weston Williamson, Pascall & Watson, 5plus, Fairhursts Design Group and Todd Architects.
JTP impressed the judges who were assessing entries on a wide range of criteria including projects, innovation, research, sustainability, client satisfaction, corporate social responsibility and staff benefits.
