Eleven-storey scheme for Bruntwood division goes in for planning
Birmingham-based Associated Architects’ proposals for a £30m gateway building for the city’s Knowledge Quarter have been lodged with planners.
The practice’s 11-storey Enterprise Wharf scheme for the Birmingham Innovation Campus near Aston University will offer 11,150sq m of flexible, smart workspace designed specifically for digital and tech businesses, including collaboration space, cycle storage, showers and a roof garden with views across the city.
Drawn up for Bruntwood SciTech, it will also deliver new landscaping and public realm including improved access to the adjacent Birmingham and Fazeley canal.
Last month Asscociated lodged plans to expand Birmingham University station, which also serves the city’s Queen Elizabeth Hosptial in Edgbaston.
