Famous figures sign letter to save Oxford Street M&S

TV presenter Kevin McCloud and London Eye designer Julia Barfield among names trying to save retailer’s flagship

Well-known names from the world of art, heritage and the built environment have written to Michael Gove to stop Oxford Street’s M&S being demolished.

Save Britain’s Heritage drew up the letter that has been signed by names including TV presenter and architect Kevin McCloud, London Eye designer Julia Barfield and comedian Griff Rhys Jones.
