Gary Clark will be practice’s regional lead for science and technology
HOK has appointed Wilkinson Eyre’s head of sustainability as its regional leader for science and technology.
Gary Clark joined the firm last month and will be responsible for its science and technology practice in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
A former project director at Hopkins Architects and an associate at Bennetts, Clark was an associate director at AECOM immediately before joining Wilkinson Eyre in 2014.
Daniel Hajjar, managing principal of HOK’s London and Dubai studios, said Clark brought a wealth of design expertise with him that included high-performance buildings across multiple sectors.
“The addition of Gary strengthens our cross-sectoral services to the science and tech community and our commitment to sustainable design,” he said.
Clark worked on the The Wellcome Trust Headquarters in London and Nottingham University’s Jubilee Campus while at Hopkins Architects.
His projects at Wilkinson Eyre included the Gasholders London apartments at King’s Cross Central for developer Argent.
