Practice works with Haworth Tompkins, Sergison Bates, East and Architecture Doing Place on latest phase of 3,500-home regeneration scheme
Maccreanor Lavington has submitted a planning application for the 614-home next phase of the Aylesbury Estate regeneration scheme in Southwark.
The practice is lead architect and masterplanner for Phase 2B of the south London project, which will see more than 2,000 homes demolished and 3,500 built. It is working with Haworth Tompkins, Sergison Bates, East and Architecture Doing Place on on the current wave.
The proposals have been drawn up for housing association Notting Hill Genesis. Homes in the latest phase will be delivered in blocks ranging from five to 26 storeys in height.
Half of the homes will be for affordable tenures and range from one-person flats to five-bedroom family maisonettes.
Around 400sq m of non-residential space will also be created.
Notting Hill Genesis and contractor Hill started work on the first 230 homes of the Aylesbury Estate regernation scheme in July 2019.
