Peel L&P lodges application to demolish 28,000sq m building on site

Plans to build a £250m leisure resort in Manchester moved forward this week with preparations to flatten a 28,000sq m event centre on the site.

Landowner Peel L&P lodged an application with Trafford council to demolish the former EventCity event and exhibition centre to make way for the 28-acre Therme Manchester scheme.
