Grade II*-listed landmark’s refresh includes a library, gym and yoga room in its former utility tower

Studio Egret West has unveiled its completed refurbishment of Erno Goldfinger’s Balfron Tower, one of the most celebrated brutalist buildings in the UK.

The 27-storey tower in Poplar, east London, is a defining example of “streets in the sky” housing in post-war Britain.
