Studio Egret West unveils £1.4bn central Manchester scheme

Mayfield development includes 1,500 homes and first new park since 1926

Studio Egret West has revealed the first images of a £1.4bn development for U&I in Manchester.

The Mayfield project is set to deliver 1,500 homes, a 650-bed hotel and 1.7m sq ft of office space.

Directly opposite Manchester Piccadilly station is being developed by a joint venture called the Mayfield Partnership and comprising U&I, Manchester council, Transport for Greater Manchester and LCR.
