The Intervention’s proposal creates a smoking “zone” centred on an oversized, picturesque, 2400x900mm planter box with a sand trough behind it to collect cigarette butts. The size of the planter relates to a standard car space (2.4 x 4.8m) so that as much car parking is retained.
