Architects have always faced the problem that people underestimate how complex their job is.
It’s the curse of the “everyday”. Architects don’t work with test tubes or robotic arms. Ask most people to think of examples of innovative firms and most will pick the likes of Apple, IBM or Tesla. The trouble is, plenty of architects are falling into that trap as well.
But while the public might not always give professionals their dues, the taxman is not quite so mean.
