Jean Nouvel's Doha museum nears completion

Photographs released of National Museum of Qatar

New images have been released of Jean Nouvel’s National Museum of Qatar which is due to open at the end of the year.

The design of the 40,000sq m museum, which is built on the Corniche in Doha, is said to be inspired by the desert rose.

The museum will tell the history of the Gulf state, combining historic objects and contemporary influences.
