Chipperfield attacks RIBA and the Tories over Brexit

‘We are already being excluded from European competitions’

David Chipperfield has issued an open letter to the profession urging it to stand up and be counted over Brexit.

He accuses the RIBA of failing to stick its head above the parapet to articulate architects’ needs as the UK negotiates its divorce from the EU.

“Can we imagine previous generations of architects being so quiet about an issue that will have such an important role in defining our future and what type of society we want?” he writes.
