£140m project will be built on long-derelict site
Glasgow-based architects Cooper Cromar has been given planning for a £140m commericial scheme that will be the city’s biggest office project in a decade.
It is being developed by Osborne & Co, the firm joined by Shard builder Flan McNamara
The Argyle Street scheme, on a site that has been derelict for more than 20 years, will contain 270,000sq ft of grade A office space across 14 floors. Its open-plan office floor plates will extend to 23,000sq ft.
The city council gave its consent a week after councillors voted to delay making a decision.
