Deputy prime minister to make oral statement in House of Commons tomorrow afternoon

The government’s response to the Grenfell Inquiry’s final report will be announced tomorrow afternoon, Building can reveal.

Deputy prime minister Angela Rayner will read out an oral statement in the House of Commons at about 1.30pm on Wednesday setting out how the government will respond to the inquiry’s 58 recommendations for improving safety in the built environment.
