Foster & Partners’ head of design will curate 2019 event’s Architecture Gallery
Foster & Partners’ head of design Spencer de Grey has been named as the curator of the architectural element of this year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
The RA said de Grey’s work at the Architecture Gallery would be on the theme of “sustainability”.
This year’s Summer Exhibition – which is the 251st in the Academy’s history – is being coordinated by painter Jock McFadyen and will feature around 1,200 exhibits. It runs from June 10 to August 12.
Piers Gough was curator of the Architecture Gallery at last year’s Summer Exhibition.
