Listen to a discussion with past Young Architect of the Year Award winners | Free to register
Since its birth more than 20 years ago, the Young Architect of the Year Award (YAYA) has launched the careers of countless talented young architects who have gone on to build renowned practices, from Niall McLaughlin to Carmody Groarke.
Listen to a conversation with last year’s winners and two other laureates on what it means to win – and how they capitalised on their success.
As part of the AYA’s shortlisting programme, three past winners (pictured) talk about how they set up their practices, the challenges they have faced and their most important projects.
They are Fergus Feilden, founding director of Feilden Fowles (winner in 2016), Christopher Lee, principal of Serie Architects (winner in 2010) and Stefanie Rhodes, founding director of Gatti Routh Rhodes (last year’s winner).
Tune in for some unique insights and an in-depth discussion among architects who have built up their practices and gone on to design acclaimed projects for significant clients.
The discussion is part of a full day of activity on the Building Design website which will also see the announcement of all the finalists for this year’s Architect of the Year Awards.
